The mindfulness technique: 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 is one of my favorite mindfulness techniques. It's a technique that you can literally do anywhere with no other supplies other than yourself. It focuses on being present in the moment, on the here and now.


The mindfulness technique: 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 is about observing and describing your environment focused on your five senses. You identify 5 things that you can see, 4 things that you can feel, 3 things that you can hear, two things that you can smell, and one thing that you can taste.
